AEROMEXICO ANNOUNCES CODE-SHARE WITH AIR EUROPA ON FLIGHTS TO MADRID, SPAIN
- With four new frequencies being added, Aeromexico will be operating a total of seven frequencies to Madrid.

Mexico City, MX, July 8th 2011.- Aeromexico and Air Europa, both members of SkyTeam Alliance, announced today during a presentation at the Aeromexico hangar a code-share, which will increases their flights between Mexico City and Madrid.
With this code-share, as of July 2nd, Aeromexico is offering four additional frequencies per week to Madrid, in addition to the seven that currently operate. In addition, for passengers traveling from Mexico this partnership expands connectivity to other European destinations such as Lisbon, Rome, Venice, London to Oviedo, Tenerife, Vigo, and Palma de Mallorca, among other Spanish cities. For passengers from Europe, Aeromexico’s connections to 40 Mexican destinations, plus flights to major cities in the United States, Central, and South America will allow them to travel with ease.
These new frequencies increases the number of available seats to Madrid from Mexico City by over 2000 seats a week, resulting in a significant growth in connectivity for both airlines.

Executives of Aeromexico and Air Europa were very pleased at the presentation of this agreement, as it consolidates the presence of both airlines in their respective markets.
