|  | Book seats as far in advance as possible, ask for seats near the washroom or bulk head. Get a window seat. Seats near the washroom will provide some inflight entertainment for the kids and some distraction for the people lining up to use them. Make sure you and all your children are traveling on adjacent seats. For young children, bring your car seat to keep them safe and comfortable, just read the seat label to verify it can be used in aircraft. | | Request your children's meal at the moment of your booking, and let our Reservations staff if you are bringing a child safety seat for them. | | Try to get a non-stop flight. It is so much easier to stay on the same plane, even for hours, than to have to disembark and find a new gate. Children are difficult to rush, especially when they are tired.
| | If possible, book travel times for nap times or overnight and you might get some rest or be able to watch the movie. If traveling at these times is not possible, keep your child awake until you get in the plane. |
| | | | At the airport and before your flight
| | Dress your child in bright colors, so he or she is easy to spot in a crowd. Give the child a card with his/her name, phone number, age, medical information, and your name, address, home/cell/beeper phone number in case you become separated. A copy of your flight itinerary is a good idea to have with the child. It's not a bad idea to attach a luggage type tag envelope to the child with all this information. | | Have a current picture photo of the child, preferably one taken the day you're traveling, showing the exact clothing that the child is wearing and how they're dressed. This will aid in quickly reuniting you with your child, should you become separated from them. Small children are quick and can disappear from your sight in the blink of an eye, so keep them very close to you at all times. | | Don't forget to talk to your child about the trip, explaining each stage of the boarding process and the flight. Make sure young children realize that the bumpiness and engine noises are normal and not a signal of an impending crash. You may even want to visit the airport ahead of time. | | Tell your children what to expect, what you expect of them and to respect other passengers. Don't let them kick other seats and ask them to use their quite inside voices on the plane. |

| | If you use an umbrella stroller, it will be very easy to move around the airport with your child. Don't check it in, just deliver it to Aeromexico's flight attendants on the boarding gate and it will be waiting for you when you get off the plane. | | To help avoid pain in children's ears from air pressure, give babies a pacifier and have older children drink or chew during take off and landing.

under a track suit. This makes the holiday fun and provides a

your carryon to put the clothes in. | | Take a favourite blanket or toy; buy an inexpensive cassette player for each child and record favourite songs or fairy tales with familiar voices, like grandma's. This will help your children feel safe and keep them busy for a long time. | | Books take up little space, but can occupy a mind for a long time.
